"CIS Corporate Bond Defaults and Restructuring: First Lessons"

Presentation with  Peter Grishin, CFA - Director, Head of Credit, Renaissance Capital
and Andrey Markov, VP Credit Research, Renaissance Capital

The event will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 9:30AM
in the IFC Moscow office.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

During the meeting, Peter and Andrey will outline the following:

1. Structural weaknesses of bond restructurings in Russia
2. Unsecured creditor rights and enforcement – from poor to worst
3. Arrogant borrowers or toothless lenders?
4. Bailout by the state: myth and reality

SPEAKERS’ BIOGRAPHIES

Petr Grishin, CFA, joined Renaissance Capital in August 2005. He is currently a Director, Head of Credit team at Fixed Income Research. Before joining Renaissance Capital, Mr. Grishin was a head of municipal bond research at Rosbank where his team was voted ‘The best regional bond research’ by Cbonds information agency in 2004. He graduated from Moscow State University with a BA in Economics (hons.) in 1998 and from Central European University (Budapest, Hungary) with a Master’s degree (hons.) in 2000.

Andrey Markov, VP Credit Research, joined Renaissance Capital in February 2008. As a member of Credit team at Fixed Income Research he is responsible for covering CIS Metals & Mining and CIS financials. Before joining Renaissance Capital, Mr. Markov worked as a head of Financial Institutions counterparty risk at Alfa Bank and Head of Risk at Bank Stroycredit. He graduated from Ural State Economic University with degree in Banking (hons.) in 2001.
