The CFA Association (Russia) and the national rating agency RusRating, with the support of the International Financial Corporation (IFC), the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Commission on Banks and Banking, and the companies Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers and FBK, present the IV Annual CFA Association (Russia) Conference: “Reporting Standards Today and Tomorrow”. General sponsor: MDM-Bank. The conference will be held on 28 February 2008 at the Hotel Marriott Royal Aurora (Moscow, ul. Petrovka, d. 11/20).

The conference will look at opportunities to perfect Russia’s common reporting policy, prospects for convergence between Russian reporting standards and international best practice, and problems related to the adoption of international accounting standards by Russian business.

The event will also include an “English debate” on the question: “True or False – Russia should adopt International Accounting Standards in the near future”.
