The CFA Institute Research Challenge Competition was officially launched on November 13th at the office of OJSC RUSNANO in Moscow. For the first time over the past four years, the local segment of the competition is being supported by a key Russian State-owned investment institution.

On November, 13th CFA Institute and CFA Association (Russia) will be officially launching the local stage of CFA Institute Research Challenge 2013-2014. The Kick-Off event will be organised with support of RUSNANO company and will be hosted at their main office.

On October 15, 2013, CFA Russia held a webinar on the advantages and ways of undertaking the CFA exams in Russia. Vladimir Tutkevich, Executive Director of CFA Association Russia, and Anton Shpuntov, CFA, made a presentation for the finance department students of the Russian academy of national economy and public administration.

CFA Association (Russia) and Kaplan Schweser organise two mock exam sessions per year to provide CFA candidates with an opportunity to experience the exam beforehand. On May 18th, over 140 CFA candidates took this Mock Exam in the set up imitation the real CFA exam with exam materials prepared by Kaplan/ Schweser.

On Monday, April 22, 2013, more than 400 investment bankers, businessmen of real sector, representatives of regulators from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria have gathered at the international press center of RIA news, to discuss the investment attractiveness of the countries of the CEE region. This event was organized and held by the CFA Association (Russia).

CFA Association (Russia) has taken part in CFA Institute Research Challenge (IRC) for the third time this year. CFA IRC is an educational initiative that promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts.
