With Bitcoin soaring above the $12,000 mark on December 6, everyone is in frenzy. ICO (Initial Coin Offering) based funding projects have raised $3.5 billion this year, but nonetheless remain mystery for many, especially when it comes to their legal side.

As cryptocurrencies and ICOs are in everyone’s mind, CFA Association Russia organized a business breakfast at the EY office focusing on the hot issue of the day.

Five guest speakers, Anton Ustimenko, Georgy Kovalenko and Yuri Gedgafov of EY, Maxim Shekhovtsev, General Partner at Genezis Tech Capital, and Alexander Filatov, adviser of the Tutor Ninja (NTOK.io) global online platform for continuing p2p education via private tutors based on the blockchain technology, had a two hour discussion touching upon legal, tax, and regulatory issues surrounding ICO projects.

Plenty of knowledge and valuable information was shared during the business breakfast. Over 70 people attended the CFA Russia business breakfast, making it one of the most popular events the association held this year.

More information can be found at EY Russia, Genesis Tech Capital, and NTOK.io.
