Six best teams advanced to the 2016-2017 CFA Institute Research Challenge Russian final. During the final, which will be held on March 14, the six contenders would present their final reports in front of the panel of judges, comprised of financial experts from the Russian CFA community.

At this point the names of the finalists won’t be disclosed. Judges scoring presentations have no idea which teams made it to the final; they only know their code letters to avoid possible cases of biased judgment during the March 14 final.

This year, CFA Russia had the unprecedented number of universities competing at the local stage. The financial analysis of the Moscow Exchange (MoEx), this year’s subject company, gave students a great opportunity to gain valuable experience that would help them in a future professional career.
