On the 30^th of January, members of CFA Association Russia received invitations to be considered as a board member of CFA Association Russia, or to volunteer to serve on a committee. 

The CFA Russia Board of Directors has plenty of opportunities to launch CFA Russia's initiatives, which include but are not limited to

- member education,
- professional conferences/breakfasts,
- regulatory initiatives,
- university outreach events,
- networking/leisure/sporting.

Just like sixty other countries where local CFA societies are present, the strength and influence of the chapter in Russia depends on the efforts of local market professionals who volunteer as Board members to enhance the status and capacities of their local CFA communities. 

So if you want to become a Board Member or know someone who would be perfect for this job, don’t delay the nomination. Please note that the nominee must be an active member of CFA Association (Russia) and have a valid CFA membership. The submission of nominations is open until Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 23:59 Moscow time.

The elections will be conducted both through an online vote and in person at the Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at a venue still to be determined.
