Like most other events this year, the CFA Institute Research Challenge is held virtually. On November 18, CFA Association Russia held the competition’s kick-off event.

This is the 11th consecutive local stage of the Research Challenge, an annual global competition among university students that provides them with hands-on mentoring and practical training in financial analysis.

The subject company for the 2020-2021 competition is Yandex N.V.

For several years now, the local stage organized by CFA Russia is one of the largest competitions in the EMEA Region. Furthermore, CFA Russia’s competition is an international event, as universities from Azerbaijan and Belarus have been actively participating in our local stage since 2016.
