On the evening of September 26, for the first time in history CFA Association Russia held an evening seminar in partnership with another professional finance society in Russia, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The members and candidates of both associations were invited to the event, which focused on the investment analysis and valuation of companies. More importantly, however, members and guests from both associations had an opportunity to meet each other and share their professional expertise.

CFA Russia invited two industry experts – Denis Sitnikov, CFA, a member of CFA Russia’s board of directors and vice-president of the company Lanit, and Olga Zagvozdkina, CFA, vice-president of Proxima Capital Group – as guest speakers during the event.

Both Denis and Olga, two professionals with years of experience in M&A, company and investment analysis, gave quality presentations, focusing on some of the key aspects of their work.

Above: over 70 guests in total attended the evening event held at the Meeting Point conference hall.

CFA Russia and ACCA have agreed to host a series of joint events in the future.  Both organizations are doing a great job at serving the financial communities in Russia and the CIS, and their future team efforts will bring more benefits to the development of the finance profession in the region.
